This soap is fantastic. I’ve used it for both shampoo and as a body soap. It has yet to build up soapy slime, even when it’s almost gone. Highly recommend it!
These are bay far the best sausages we have found as ex pats living in the US. I’m very fussy about my sausages but these are a great british sausage…….I just wish they were always in stock
I was hesitant to buy this, thinking the bran would be too much, but it is really excellent. You get the benefit of the bran fiber without affecting the taste of the oatmeal.
This is such delicious bread. The perfect amount of sweetness and flavor. Great with clotted cream
I was ecstatic to find a high-quality Scottish Oatmeal available in the United States. I lived in Scotland in the 1970s. I brought a package of oatmeal (ground, not rolled -- rolled oats were completely unavailable and unheard of where I was living) back to the USA with me and kept it sealed in Tupperware, hoping to find something similar.
I cooked up a pot of Hamlyn's, and also cooked up the last of my carefully preserved oatmeal brought from Scotland, so I could compare them. Hamlyn's is the right stuff!
Perhaps the soil the oats are grown in makes a difference.
Bob's Red Mill Scottish-style oatmeal and other US-grown alternatives were very close, but the taste is not the same.
These pies are really great. The shippibg price is also the best I have found. Will be a regular customer
Buttery, granular texture, full of flavor. The plain is more delicious than any store bought shortbread I have ever had. The stem-ginger is singularly scrumptious... they taste and even look homemade. Take a bite, close your eyes, and when you open them do not be surprised if you find yourself in Scotland !
My wife is British and I am American, and she has always pressed shortbread on me as a UK staple, and I have always hated it. I've tried half a dozen brands, and none ever impressed me. Not until I tried this brand did I understand how good shortbread could be. I was and am still blown away by this brand of shortbread--it's nothing short of extraordinary. Plus, the individual size package of 2 cookies (biscuits?) makes it very easy to pace yourself slowly instead of dealing with the open box letting the rest go stale. This is a great product, and I'm more than happy to spend the extra money to have it shipped to the USA--there's nothing here at least that even comes close.
Of all the tea I have tried, this is my very favorite. Highland blend is darker than English Breakfast teas but very smooth. I love this one!
I bought a tin of these in Edinburgh to give as a gift to my friends back in the states. They shared them with me on my return and I wished I bought two tins! I'll be putting in an order shortly.
I had some folks from England come to stay at my Airbnb and they brought me this tea as a gift.
I'm a black tea lover, and I absolutely fell in love with this tea! So flavorful and soothing. It's now my favorite!
This tin was given to my husband and me for Christmas. He is not a "fan" of toffee. So, he offered the contents to me. Having been to Scotland recently, it was awesome to savor their delicious toffees again!
This sauce is so good! I'm NOT a fan of port or any wine, but the subtle flavor with the cranberries is delicious! I was eating it with my turkey dinners, but started eating it out of the jar.
