The island of Raasay lies between the East coast of the Isle of Skye and the mainland of North West coast of Scotland. 14 miles long and 5 miles wide, Raasay has a barren, rugged and rocky terrain with the highest elevation of Dun Caan at 1456ft providing spectacular views of the Cuillins of Skye.
Raasay is famous for being the birthplace of 20th Century Gaelic poet Sorley MacLean, The island is a rich paradise for walkers and nature lovers. A single malt and gin distillery was started in 2017.
