(South) Rona is situated between Skye and the mainland coast of Scotland. Only 5 miles long and 1 mile wide Rona is an uninhabited island that hosts magical mossy and rich woodland, secret lochs and rocky hills. At the South end of the island there is a very secluded bay that makes for a perfectly sheltered anchorage but requires skillful navigation to enter. The old schoolhouse in the center of the island is still intact. You can almost hear the sound of children if you close your eyes and listen.
