My mother used to make Swiss Milk Tablet. I have inherited the recipe, but have been unable to make it turn out. Since I, therefore, cannot make it for friends, I hoped that this would do. It contains glycerin and my mother's recipe does not, but otherwise looks the same. I gave to a friend. She's never had Swiss Milk Tablet and has no way to compare it and I haven't tasted any from the tin I gave her. Maybe next year I'll buy us both a tin. :-) Got the "Muckle Coo" tin because I remember them from Scotland.
